Testimonials:
I have been playing the drums now for 8 years. I have a deep passion for music, and i wanted to pick up another instrument.
About half a year ago, at the age of 18, I got my first guitar from my uncle, a 1952 Fender Strat. Not a bad first guitar!! I knew absolutely nothing about the guitar except how to read tabs. Because of Marty and his amazing instructional videos, I now know the majority of the songs he has featured on YouTube and I know can say that i play both the guitar and the drums.
I'm not the worlds' cleanest player, and I'm defininetly not one to start bragging yet, but the things I have learned from the chords, to strumming has been an unbelievable help. I love playing the guitar and I love music. Thank you to Marty and everyone at GuitarJamz.com!!! Keep me Rockin'!!!!!

Hey Marty, I know its not necessary, but I just wanted to tell you that my dvd package just arrived here in Brazil (in only two weeks, that's fast!!). Also that I really enjoy your classes and that my skills have already improved a lot.
When you talk about your first guitar classes and how boring they were, I know exaclty what you mean. And I think your classes are fun to hear and always have a practical purpose. Anyway, thanks a lot for them!
All the best, when you come gig in Brazil, give me a heads up!!

Hey Marty, I've been learning guitar now for around 5 months now about 4 months I have been learning from another program.
It use to feel like such an effort and no fun at all learning form the previous source although I am determined to learn this instrument no matter what it takes. I have been learning some of your easy songs off youtube for the past month and can not leave my guitar alone. I decided to take up the 3 day free day trial with guitarjamz and I am enjoying the lessons 100% so purchased a few dvd sets.
Bottom line just wanted to say thanks a million, learning guitar has become an addiction and so much fun thanks to the time you put in and your enthusiasm and willingness as a teacher. Thanks mate keep up the good work!

I was actually very surprized to find how user friendly the site was. I didn't have a lot of time to visit the site, but still went through about 26 of your blues lessons. Each lesson was fairly short with just enough info to learn a few things each time without overwelming the viewer. I think this is smart and more effective for beginers. I have played for a while, so I would just move on to the next lesson until I encountered something that took some practice to get down. For me, it was great because I could learn at my own pace and not get bored waiting for the next session when I felt I was already ready to learn more.
I like that each lesson builds on the last. It allows you to see just how much you have progressed. the other thing that I liked was that the site kept track of what lessons you have already seen, keeping the viewer from wasting time uploading lessons already viewed.
You are a very good teacher. you keep things interesting and focus on the playing instead of getting super bogged down in music theory. Thanks for the opportunity to try out your lessons.

Thanks for your help Marty. I'm a beginner and I'm learning the acoustic so I can play with my Paw Paw who is in his 80s. He's been playing all his life and I wanted to learn too so I can play with him. He's teaching me too, but I don't get to practice with him but maybe 2 times a week.
You're a funny, nice, cool professional that's right there with you every step of the way. I'm using your 3-Day Free Trial right now, but when it runs out I plan on to pay for Premium so I can keep using Guitarjamz.com - which is a great site with plenty of videos and diagrams including your E-Book that teaches many people including me to play the guitar.
I might even buy your DVDs so I can keep learning with a bigger screen. Thanks Marty for your help.

Dear Marty,
You are without a doubt the BEST guitar teacher on the internet. I've been playing on and off for about a year just teaching myself using online websites and I have learned more from a week of your free videos than I have in a year.
I'm about to buy your blues package and I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for taking the time to put all of these videos up. You make every step of learning the guitar fun and allowed me to actually see myself getting so much better than I ever thought was possible.
Thanks a lot marty and keep doing what you do!

Thank you so much for your help on guitar. At first I saw guitar as something I would like to learn but don't have the time or the ability to do, but thanks to your numerous Youtube videos and your free chord charts, I have learned how to play guitar.
I am practicing everyday and I am seeing an increase in ability thanks to you. You are the reason why I rock.
